SupplySide West is now SupplySide Global: what changed 🔄

If you are searching for SupplySide West, you are looking for the right show under its former name. In September 2024, Informa Markets announced new identities for its SupplySide portfolio: the Las Vegas show became SupplySide Global after its October 2024 edition, and SupplySide East became SupplySide Connect New Jersey. The trade titles were renamed at the same time: Natural Products Insider is now SupplySide Supplement Journal.

For exhibitors, the substance is unchanged: same organizer, same venue at Mandalay Bay, same October slot and the same buyers. SupplySide Global is a B2B showcase for dietary supplements, food, beverages, pet health and personal care. The last edition held as SupplySide West, in 2024, reported 19,000 registered participants.

It is an ingredients and supply-chain show. Exhibitors sell to brands and manufacturers, and that shapes every decision about your stand, from the sampling bar to the meeting space.

SupplySide West 2026: dates, venue and practical information 📅

The 2026 edition introduces a longer format. For the first time, the expo hall is open three days instead of two, while the education program starts two days earlier.

Hours are taken from the organizer's 2026 booth sales sheet and are subject to change. Always check the current Exhibitor Service Kit before booking travel.

The show floor spreads over two levels. Level 2 (Shoreline), added in 2025, hosts the New Exhibitor Zone, the Supplement Solutions Stage, the Networking Pub and the Bark Park, and opens one hour before Level 1. The 2025 edition also ran an Innovation Stage and a Future of Food & Beverage Stage. Your hall matters for your stand: it sets your move-in slot and the flow of visitors past your booth.

Who exhibits and who visits: key figures 📊

According to the organizer's 2025 post-show report, SupplySide Global drew more than 20,000 participants from 74 countries, and 44% of visitors were attending for the first time. More than 1,600 companies exhibited, and the education program delivered over 130 hours of content.

Indicator (2025 edition)Figure
Total participants20,000+
Countries represented74
Exhibiting companies1,600+
First-time visitors44%
Visitors working for a manufacturer60%
Visitors sourcing for dietary supplements57%
Respondents with a purchasing level of $1 million or more33%

Exhibitors are mainly ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers, equipment and machinery companies, flavor and fragrance houses, packaging and labeling suppliers, and testing laboratories. On the visitor side, the largest groups work in R&D and product development (23%), purchasing and supply chain (17%) and business development (14%). PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, GNC, Nature's Way, Thorne and Walmart were among the companies in attendance in 2025.

What this means for your stand: your visitors are formulators and buyers with technical questions. They want data, samples and a quiet place to discuss specifications, not a show.

How much does a stand at SupplySide West cost? 💶

Split your budget into two lines: the floor space, rented from the organizer, and the stand itself, designed and built by your stand builder. In the organizer's 2026 booth sales sheet, space is listed at $96 per sq ft for a linear booth and $99.50 per sq ft for an island, plus a corner premium (rates to be confirmed with your SupplySide account manager). That is roughly $1,030 to $1,070 per m² of floor space alone, before any construction.

FormatTypical sizeBudget guideBest for

Indicative ranges. Build budgets exclude floor space and venue services (electricity, rigging, internet, material handling, cleaning), which are ordered through GES and Mandalay Bay. Our quotes are itemized line by line.

To give an order of magnitude: on a 20 × 20 ft island (about 37 m²), a custom stand represents roughly €22,500 to €56,000 of design and build, on top of about $39,800 of floor space at the island rate. For a wider breakdown, see our guide to exhibition stand costs.

💡 Good to know

On a US show, material handling (moving your freight from the dock or warehouse to your booth) is billed by the official contractor and often surprises first-time exhibitors. For 2026, the GES discount deadline was October 2 and the last day for advance warehouse shipments without surcharge was October 19. Expect similar dates for 2027.

Which stand format for SupplySide? 🎯

The right format depends on four things: your main goal, your trade show experience, your timeline and the floor space you have booked. The quick test below recommends a stand format in four questions. It does not estimate a price.

Question 1 of 4
What is the main goal of your stand?

A first-time exhibitor on a 10 × 10 ft booth in the New Exhibitor Zone does not need the same stand as an ingredient supplier hosting key accounts on a large island. If you exhibit every year, a reusable modular trade show booth lowers the cost per edition. For a stronger identity, start with trade show booth design, or delegate everything with a turnkey exhibition stand.

💡 Good to know

At a trade show, a standard stand goes unnoticed. A bespoke stand that reads from a distance holds visitors who spend little time in each aisle. We design, build and install yours, one contact from brief to dismantling.

Stand design tips for ingredient and supplement exhibitors 🧪

A. Brumont stand with a tasting bar and meeting tables, built by Decore Studio Events
The A. Brumont stand: a tasting bar up front and meeting tables behind, a layout that adapts well to ingredient sampling.

At SupplySide, the stand is a sampling station, a technical showroom and a meeting room at the same time. The stands that work share six traits:

  • The sampling station comes first. Food and beverage sampling requires the authorization form included in the GES Exhibitor Service Kit. Plan the counter, power for refrigeration, storage and waste from the first sketch, not the week before.
  • Demo and meetings are separated. Buyers arrive with specifications. A semi-private area with two to four tables lets your technical team discuss formulation, volumes and pricing away from the aisle.
  • Claims are reviewed before printing. SupplySide's compliance program reviews booth displays, packaging, promotional materials, websites and videos. Disease claims (treat, prevent, cure) are not permitted without FDA drug approval, and weight-loss, bodybuilding and sexual enhancement claims are high priority for reviewers.
  • The science is visible. Clinical studies, certifications and traceability are selling points for formulators. Give the key data a large panel or a screen, and keep technical sheets on hand or behind a QR code.
  • Finished applications are on display. An ingredient is abstract. Prototype gummies, drinks or capsules made with it help buyers picture the end product.
  • Storage is built in. Samples and literature for three expo days need a lockable storeroom inside the stand.

⭐ Our recommendation

Send your claims, labels and graphics to your regulatory team before the stand goes into production. Changing a printed back wall in Las Vegas costs far more than changing a PDF in your office.

Timeline: planning your stand for SupplySide 2027 🗓️

With the 2026 edition only weeks away, most exhibitors are now planning for 2027. A custom stand needs six to nine months from brief to opening, especially when production and assembly are coordinated with partner workshops and crews on site in Las Vegas. Booth selection follows a priority points system based on each exhibitor's history, and the 2027 priority point deadline was July 24, 2026.

Common mistakes at SupplySide West ❌

  • Budgeting the stand but not the floor: at around $100 per sq ft, space can cost as much as the build. Budget both from day one.
  • Printing claims before the compliance check: a disease claim on a back wall can lead to material removal on site.
  • Forgetting sampling logistics: no authorization form, no refrigeration, no waste plan, and the tasting bar stays empty.
  • Missing GES deadlines: services ordered after the discount deadline cost more, and late freight pays surcharges.
  • An open stand with nowhere to sit: buyers who fly to Las Vegas to discuss specifications will not do it standing in the aisle.
  • Planning for two days: since 2026 the expo runs three days. Plan staff rotation and enough samples for the whole show.
⚠️ Common mistake

Waiting for the summer to brief a stand builder. Custom design, the regulatory review of your claims and production with our partner workshops on site all take time: start six to nine months before the show.
