What is the Summer Fancy Food Show? 🧀
The Summer Fancy Food Show is the flagship event of the Specialty Food Association, the US trade body of specialty food makers. Held every summer at the Javits Center in New York, it is North America's largest trade show for specialty food and beverage: cheese, charcuterie, confectionery, olive oil, condiments, beverages, snacks and the new product categories of the year.
The show is where US importers, distributors and retail buyers source new products for the coming season. For a European producer, it is the most direct entry point to the American specialty market, with national pavilions grouping Italian, French, Spanish, Greek and other producers by country.

Opening hours: published by the SFA before the show; previous editions opened at 10:00 am and closed at 5:00 pm, with an earlier close on the last day

Subway: 7 line to 34 St-Hudson Yards, a 5-minute walk from the Javits Center
Airports: JFK, LaGuardia and Newark, 45 to 60 minutes by taxi depending on traffic
Hotels: Hudson Yards and Midtown West fill up quickly; book as soon as your space is confirmed

The winter show, formerly the Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas, is now the Winter FancyFaire: 17 to 19 January 2027 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Who can exhibit and what does a booth cost?
Exhibitors: specialty food and beverage producers, importers and brands; many exhibit within a national or regional pavilion
Floor space: sold by the SFA per booth unit (10x10 ft and multiples), price on request, with a corner premium
The booth itself is a separate budget: from €600/m² for a modular stand, €600 to €1,500/m² for a bespoke stand with a real tasting bar, excluding floor space
New York specifics: build-up at the Javits Center goes through the official general contractor and union labour; drayage, electrical connections, refrigeration and water supply for sampling are billed separately
A food stand is designed around the tasting flow: where the visitor stops, where samples are prepared, where waste goes. Refrigeration, hand-washing points and food-safety rules of the venue and the organiser decide the layout before the design does. Plan them first.
