Eurosatory is the world's leading land and airland defence and security exhibition, held every two years in Paris. This guide starts with the question most visitors ask, how much does admission cost, then covers registration, the 2028 dates, the venue and how to get there, what the show covers and the results of the 2026 edition. Every figure comes from the official eurosatory.com website and the price list published by the organiser.

Tickets and badge: how to register for Eurosatory 🪪

Access requires a personal badge, ordered online and validated by the organiser. The price list does show a higher "on-site" rate, but the official FAQ states that orders are placed online: do not count on a ticket desk, order before you travel. The published rules:

  • Orders are placed exclusively online, on the show's accreditation platform, with an official ID document and an ID photo.
  • The organiser validates each request; validation can take a few days, after which a confirmation email is sent.
  • The A4 badge is downloaded from your personal area and must be printed in colour: a badge displayed on a phone does not give access to the show.
  • It is personal, non-transferable, non-editable and non-refundable once the order is validated.
  • At the entrance, show your printed badge and your ID document.
  • Foreign visitors can download a certificate of participation from their personal area for their visa application.

Who can visit Eurosatory?

The show is reserved for defence and security professionals over 16. Every visitor must be able to prove the professional nature of their visit. Target audience: manufacturers, armed forces and homeland security forces, government bodies, international organisations, local authorities, academic institutions, press. Eurosatory is not open to the general public.

What are the Eurosatory 2028 dates? 📅

The organiser has is preparing Eurosatory 2028 for June 2028 in Paris (trade show calendars list 19 to 23 June, dates to be confirmed by the organiser). The show is biennial and takes place in June of even years: 2024, 2026, then 2028. The 2028 opening hours will be published by the organiser; as a reference, here are those of the 2026 edition:

Day2026 edition opening hours
Monday 15 to Thursday 18 June 20269:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday 19 June 2026From 9:00 am, last visitor entry at 3:00 pm

Count on four full days and a shorter final half-day. If you only come for one day, Friday is the only free day for private companies, but also the shortest.

Where is Eurosatory held? Venue and access to Villepinte 📍

Eurosatory takes place at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre, ZAC Paris Nord 2, 93420 Villepinte, north-east of Paris. The 2026 edition occupied halls 4, 5a, 5b and 6, over 185,000 m² according to the organiser, plus an outdoor demonstration area. Access as listed on the official website:

  • RER B: towards Charles de Gaulle Airport, Parc des Expositions station, about 20 minutes from central Paris. You need an Île-de-France zone 4 ticket: a single metro ticket is not valid.
  • Plane: the venue is five minutes from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle by RER B; from Orly, take Orlyval to Antony then RER B, about 50 minutes.
  • Shuttles: in 2026, free Villepinte Express shuttles linked the airport and the Charles de Gaulle TGV station to hall 5B every 30 minutes.
  • Car: A1 or A3 then A104, Parc des Expositions exit; visitor car park P1, €0.80 per quarter hour for the first six hours, then €20 from the 7th to the 24th hour.
  • Taxi and private hire: taxi rank at hall 7; adapted access and routes for visitors with reduced mobility.

Route details are on the Eurosatory access page. For five days of show, the RER B remains the safest option: the station opens directly onto the exhibition centre.

What is Eurosatory? Sectors and themes 🛡️

Created in 1967, Eurosatory is organised by COGES Events, a subsidiary of GICAT (the French land and airland defence and security industry association). Its historic core is land and airland defence: vehicles, weapons, soldier equipment, systems. The show also covers security (border and critical infrastructure protection, crisis management, homeland security forces) and, increasingly, cyber, space and naval through multi-domain solutions. In 2026, four themes structured the programme:

  • Multi-domain superiority: cyber, space, artificial intelligence and digital challenges.
  • Long-range combat, land manoeuvre and air mobility.
  • Global security, risk prevention and crisis management.
  • Industrial resilience and war economy.

Around the halls: outdoor live demonstrations (trench combat, drones and robots, close combat, robotic demining in 2026), the Eurosatory Lab for start-ups, technology clusters, a helicopter and drone area, business meetings and a conference programme.

Eurosatory 2026 in figures: results of the latest edition 📊

Here are the 2026 figures published by the organiser on eurosatory.com. The 2028 figures will be released after the show.

Indicator2026 edition
Exhibitors2,633, from 67 countries
National pavilions40
Official delegations440, from 95 countries
Trade visitors60,000
JournalistsOver 900
Speakers400, from 31 countries
Conferences150

To measure the progression: the official exhibitor pages quote over 2,100 exhibitors from 65 countries, over 43,000 visitors from 155 countries and over 330 delegations from 93 countries for 2024. The show therefore grew significantly between the two editions, with the opening of hall 4 in 2026.

💡 Good to know

2,633 exhibitors and 60,000 trade visitors in a single edition: a standard stand disappears in the aisles. Official delegations and buyers spend little time per hall, so a bespoke stand readable from a distance makes the difference at this kind of show.

Exhibiting at Eurosatory 2028: the organiser's options 🏗️

Floor space is booked with COGES Events, which publishes its options without a public price list: the cost depends on surface, location and options, quoted by the organiser. The options announced:

  • Indoor raw space: from 12 m², with 1 to 4 open corners and an upper-floor option limited to 20% of the floor area (60% for perimeter stands).
  • Equipped stands: Classic (6 to 12 m²), Business (12 to 24 m²) and Prestige (24 m² and over) packages, with furniture, carpet, partitions, electricity and spotlights.
  • Outdoor raw space: from 50 m², with construction and upper-floor rights options.
  • Group areas: national pavilions, regional groups, Eurosatory Lab for start-ups and technology clusters.

The rented space does not include the stand itself, except for equipped packages: for raw space, design and build are handled by a separate contractor. Stand costs are detailed in our guide to exhibition stand costs, and the upper-floor option in our page on double-decker stands.

⭐ Space booked? You still need the stand

Preparing your visit or your participation: our tips 🧳

If you are visiting

  • Order your badge as soon as ticketing opens: the early rate was half the price in 2026 for the 1-day pass.
  • Allow for the organiser's validation time and print the badge in colour before you leave.
  • Plan your route with the exhibitor catalogue and the demonstration programme, published on the official website.
  • Take the RER B with a zone 4 ticket, or the shuttle from Roissy if the service is renewed.
  • If you are a student, aim for Thursday and Friday, the two days covered by the student pass.

If you are exhibiting

  • Book early: the best-placed locations and outdoor areas go first.
  • Read the exhibitor manual as soon as you receive it: technical file deadlines, build-up slots, access and load rules for heavy equipment.
  • Send your invitations early to clients and partners: an invited visitor enters without paying for a pass.
  • Book your team's accommodation several months ahead; the organiser appointed an official accommodation partner in 2026.
  • Need a stand builder in Paris for Villepinte? Our teams design, build and install defence and security stands, with the confidentiality this sector requires.
