WWF · COP26

A 3D concept for WWF and the US Climate Action Center at COP26 in Glasgow: the #PandaHub, a light-wood pavilion designed as the rallying point of the American delegation.
The challenge
Bring together a 40-seat conference room, private meeting rooms and an open reception in one space, while carrying a strong message, 'Time to deliver on high climate ambition. No excuses!', in a venue where every material choice is scrutinised.
Our answer
A timber architecture with triangular cut-outs letting the light in, dressed with the Glasgow warming stripes (1884-2020, #ShowYourStripes) as a graphic signal. Conference, meeting rooms and welcome desk are organised around a simple flow, modelled in 3D for sign-off before production.
The result
A 3D rendering approved by the WWF teams, carried through to the print files for vinyls and logos, for a pavilion that became one of the most photographed spaces in the delegations area.
